The 5th World Congress of Latvian Scientists "Research Latvia" took place in Riga from 27th to 29th June 2023. 

CLARIN-LV participated in this congress with several poster presentations. The overview of CLARIN infrastructure and CLARIN-LV offers for researchers were presented in poster presentation "Latvian language in CLARIN Research Infrastructure – Important Step towards Digital Language Equality (DLE)", while presentation "Korpuss.lv and Tēzaurs.lv for Digital Humanities and Language Technology Development" introduced to the two important Latvian language resources: National corpus collection korpuss.lv un electronic lexicon tezaurs.lv. Another important initiative Balsu talka was presented in poster "Talka – Crowdsourced Open Latvian Speech Dataset". Finally, Sanita Reinsone from the Institute of Literature, Folklore and arts (University of Latvia) participated in panel discussion "Digitalization and human".
